MAPS was constituted like an UPC research party in 2006 while the consequence of developing teachers and analysts with expertise on network management, community planing, architectures and service design. Benefiting from complementarity and the synergies of its pioneers’ background, the research scope of the collection was founded as follows: Assistance Design (design, arrangement, administration of framework-conscious and safe essay ubiquitous services) Supervision of Support-conscious Networks and Supporting Sources (autonomic administration systems, software-defined network, network functions and resources virtualization) Business and Economic Areas Of Telecommunication Providers (SLAs, pricing) Allowing Administration Technologies (system virtualization, plan-centered administration, framework-recognition, data and data modelling, reasoning and understanding strategies)
